Terms of Use

Last updated: 22 May 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Crea Visual SpA, a Chilean software company, governing your use of the Atenti macOS application and this website. By buying or using Atenti, you accept these terms.

1. What you're buying

Atenti is a desktop application for macOS. A purchase grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Atenti for personal or commercial use on Apple computers you own or control, up to the activation limit shown on the checkout page (currently three devices per license).

You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share your license key. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the application, except where this restriction is prohibited by law.

2. Price, payment, and tax

Atenti is sold for a one-time fee shown at checkout, in US dollars. The transaction is processed by Lemon Squeezy, who acts as the merchant of record and is responsible for collecting and remitting any sales tax, VAT, or GST applicable to your location. The price you see at checkout includes any such tax.

3. Updates

Your purchase includes all updates to the same major version of Atenti (for example, all 1.x releases). A future major version (for example, 2.0) may require a paid upgrade; if and when that happens, we will notify you in advance and offer fair upgrade pricing to existing customers.

4. Refunds

You may request a full refund for any reason within 14 days of your purchase. Email support@atenti.app from the address you used to buy Atenti and we will process the refund within five business days. Your license will be deactivated when the refund is processed.

If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, this 14-day refund matches your statutory right of withdrawal for digital goods. By starting to use the app you agree that the right of withdrawal ends when you have downloaded and used the software beyond a reasonable trial period; we extend it to 14 days regardless.

5. What Atenti does — and does not promise

Atenti records and transcribes meetings on your Mac and uses AI to generate notes and answers. AI output can be wrong, biased, or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing notes before relying on them or sharing them with others, especially for legal, medical, financial, or HR decisions.

You are responsible for complying with the laws and policies that govern recording in your jurisdiction — including obtaining consent from other participants where required. Atenti does not assist or instruct you in any specific compliance regime; that's between you, your participants, and your lawyer.

6. Third-party services

Atenti can use OpenAI, Anthropic, and other third-party APIs at your request and under API keys you provide. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms; Crea Visual SpA is not a party to that relationship. Atenti's auto-update mechanism uses Sparkle and reads from this website.

7. As-is, no warranty

Atenti is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI-generated content will be accurate.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crea Visual SpA's total liability arising out of or relating to Atenti is limited to the amount you paid for the license in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, where such a limitation would be unenforceable under applicable law.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your license if you materially breach these terms (for example, redistributing your license key, or attempting to circumvent the license check). If we do this without cause, we will refund any unused portion of your purchase.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and notify customers by email or via an in-app notice. Continued use of Atenti after the change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Chile. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Santiago, Chile. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protections (for example, the European Union, the United Kingdom, or your country of residence), those protections still apply to you, and nothing in this section overrides them.
